Bennett’s Bar Mitzvah “made some noise” with a complete tech room transformation at the Stepping Stone Museum.
Every detail was meticulously planned by X-Q, including, escort cards, menu cards, towering beat centerpieces, custom pillows, lounge, bar and unique candle lighting showpiece. The Beats theme continued in every detail and it was a great time at #BennettBarMitzvah!
A very special thanks to Party Planner Melisa Imberman!
Thank you to Chad David Kraus Photography for capturing all the details!
Lindsey was on “Topf” of the world at her bat mitzvah at The Loading Dock! The overall room was designed by X-Q with an icicle lights ceiling treatment over the dance floor, white leather rectangle tables, gorgeous floral centerpieces, and kids’ graphic lucite centerpieces. We wowed guests with oversized bling trimmed murals of Lindsey and custom logo decals at the entrance. All of the kids loved the “to-go” station with goodies for them to take home!
Our goal was to fasciNATE guests with our colorful, fun and orNATE event designs for Nate’s bar mitzvah at Willow Ridge Country Club. See for yourself if we passed the test!
Escort Card Table
As guests entered the foyer of Willow Ridge Country Club they were greeted with a large “NATE” word wall displayed behind the escort card table. The colors of the word wall coordinated with the escort cards that were individually held by slinkies.
Cocktail Hour
During the cocktail hour, the adults sipped on their beverages at tables decorated with silver lanterns illumiNATEd with fairy light accents and lime citrus pom pom floral tufts.
The kids gathered under a tent with a custom designed food court style set up. Each stand had specialty food signs including menus presented on new corrugated silver metal food bars.
For the remainder of the evening, the kids gathered in the main room on new grey leather furniture. The room was decorated with custom, warm amber uplighting and logo projections.
During dinner, the adults sat on cross back chairs at X-Quisite farm tables that featured crushed velvet grey runners accented with custom designed floral and wooden birch candle accents. Vintage tinted glass bottles in purple, lime and cobalt blue were placed along the runners, along with handmade woven birch baskets filled with fresh viburnum, pussy willow, bare grass and trachelium. Large silver candle lanterns anchored each end of the table.
Bistro napkins and specialty “Fun” menus adorned the black charger plates.
The kids enjoyed making their own soda at the CarboNATE soda bar on the new barn wood bar.
The black dance floor was decorated with Gobo logo projections. The diamond plate DJ staging area was anchored with an oversized “Nate” word mural at the head of the dance floor.
For Zach’s Bar Mitzvah it was an all day affair! It started off with a kiddush luncheon at Zach’s home and the after party continued on at Westchester Reform Temple.
Luncheon
On Zach’s big day, guests arrived at his home ready to celebrate. They were led to a large tent of X-Quisite’s farm tables and new ladder back chairs.
The tables were decorated with a grey twill fabric runner, rustic wooden flower boxes filled with blue hydrangea, white orchids, dusty miller and green pods. Bronze lanterns with a white stone base were added for ambient lighting.
The charger plates held napkins with our custom designed “Zach” logo napkin rings.
Party Time!
Following the luncheon was the after party at Westchester Reform Temple. Guests walked in with “Zach’s Code” logo design projected on the wall and floor to the entrance of the temple.
Escort Card Table
The escort card table was beautifully decorated with candles and large glass cylinder vases of orchids, delphinium, and hydrangea. Escort cards with Zach’s logo added a unique and personalized touch.
A 20’ adult mirror bar was decorated with cubbies of candles, small vases of white flowers and pictures highlighting Zach throughout the years. So cute!
Lighting
Look how happy, Zach is standing in front of his “Code” logo.
Centerpieces & Decor
There were two styles of tables with gorgeous floral centerpieces. In the center of the table was a large white vase of hydrangea and bursting delphinium flanked by tall glass cylinders of phalaenopsis orchids accent table top florals and candle finishes.
The tables had customized table top runners and napkin bands with Zach’s logo that added a lovely touch.
Kids’ Lounge
Zach and his friends had a blast in the kids’ lounge that included fun games like air hockey and foosball.
The cool diamond plate bars used during the cocktail hour were later re-purposed into a candy bar and a hot chocolate station for guests to enjoy a treat as they left the party!
Go Blue! Matty’s Big Blue Bar Mitzvah Bash scored big among guests. The Tamarack Country Club was completely transformed into a party fit for a superstar!
Escort Card Table Decor
As guests arrived, they were greeted at the entrance of Tamarack Country club with “M” banners. Inside, a custom “M” carpet runner lead to what appeared to be the ultimate tailgate!
Underneath a giant blue and yellow tent, branded with the “M” logo, was an extraordinary escort card table design. Authentic kegs trimmed with wheat grass and theme logos were used for the solo cup escort card table presentation. Guests names were handwritten on the solo cups to serve as the escort cards, adding a touch of whimsy upon arrival.
Starting the Party
Beautiful yellow flowers adorned the space in which the cocktail party was held. Guests then proceeded to the main event through two separate entrances. Two signs leading to the main room hung over each doorway to guide guests into the party space. The “Student Section” was for the kids while “General Admission” was for the adults.
Kids’ Sports Lounge
The kids’ loungewas styled with custom furniture finished in the theme party colors – blue and yellow. “M” banners suspended from the ceiling while illuminated tables dawned Matty’s, “M” logo and date of the party. A press conference table designed with a step and repeat backdrop was the perfect place for the kids to take fun pictures.
Adult Section
Two styles of table decor graced the alternating round and rectangular tables. Yellow and blue runners anchored each table with flowers of the season presented in a clean and modern fashion.
The menus gracing the tables were custom printed to include Matty’s “M” logo. The X-Quisite Flowers and Events team also provided the custom fitted linens and napkins. Two styles of chairs were provided for seating comfort.
Play by Play of the Room Decor
The white dance floor featured a custom designed “M” decal in the middle of the floor with a border reading, “Party In The Big House”. A massive LED projection screen boasting Matty’s logo was at the base of the dance floor providing the perfect backdrop to the party.
Adding to the Big Blue spirit, a specialty theme designed scoreboard hung over the doorway. Our team lit the perimeter of the room and the dance floor in Michigan blue. The light bulbs in Tamarack Country Club’s chandeliers were switched to feature party blue lights.
The ceiling treatment with “M” banners and yellow fabric swags gave a ribbon effect that added depth, dimension and an overall festive mood.
We custom designed our new diamond plate illuminated bar with large “M” logos. The back bar shelving unit was adorned with theme toned florals, candles and “M” water bottles.

X-Quisite Flowers and Events, Inc. is thrilled to be featured on The Westchester Wedding Planner’s Vendor Spotlight this week. The Westchester Wedding Planner is an online vendor resource guide and wedding ideas resource that provides wedding-related information to brides in Westchester and Hudson Valley. The gorgeous ceremony and reception we designed at Red Maple Vineyard in upstate New York that was featured was simply picturesque. From the hand crafted chuppah covered in green sheet moss to the dark stained wooden farm tables adorned with organic flowers and foliage, the happy couple was thrilled. Read more about this perfect autumn day celebration below. A big thank you to The Westchester Wedding Planner for posting this wonderful blog:
The Ceremony:
The chuppah was hand crafted by the artists at X-Quisite Flowers & Events, Inc. The frame was designed using 2 x 6 stained wood then covered with natural green sheet moss trimmed with a wrap of grapevine and secured with natural raffia. All of the materials were transported to the venue where the entire design was created. For the artists at X-Quisite, this is always the best way to create a client’s vision. It also guarantees the freshness of the flowers.
